Chapter 631 High-End Player
Chapter 631 High-End Player
While Ye Xiu was sleeping, Martial Artists from Xuanse and its neighboring countries began arriving in Nanjing one after another. The Qing Luan Sect had arranged for dedicated personnel and vehicles to receive them.
When the Martial Artists learned that the sect planned for them to stay in rural villages, they were all displeased. How could people of their stature be expected to stay in such humble lodgings? Besides, the quality of the villages varied; some were close to the Mist Chant Martial Meeting arena, while others were far away. Even if staying in a village was unavoidable, they demanded the best ones, those closest to the arena.
Then, a representative from the Qing Luan Sect simply stated, "This was arranged by Huang Quan."
Instantly, no one dared to be picky anymore. Through this incident, Qing Luan was once again reminded of Huang Quan’s intimidating global presence.
The next morning, atop Unparalleled Mountain, Kristina asked, "Are the camps for all the Totem and Special Abilities organizations from around the world ready?"
Lin Xin replied with a smile, "Everything’s ready. We’re just waiting for them to arrive!"
In their minds, every Totem and Special Abilities organization in the world was subordinate to the three Judicator Families. They were certain these groups would gather under Kristina’s banner upon arriving in Nanjing. Kristina had even posted on the Martial Artist forums, instructing all global organizations to report directly to Unparalleled Mountain upon arrival.
However, by noon, not a single person had shown up.
By evening, there was still no one.
"What’s going on?" Kristina had waited all day and was growing irritable. "According to our projections, the organizations from the nations of Dongzhou and parts of Fusheng Island should have arrived by now. Why haven’t we seen a single person?"
Lin Xin frowned. "Could something have gone wrong?"
"I’ll check the Martial Artist forums." Kristina took out her phone and posted an inquiry.
A reply quickly appeared below her post: "Huang Quan has already arranged lodging in Nanjing for all the world’s Martial Artists. Anyone who dares to find their own accommodations will be killed without mercy!"
Kristina and Lin Xin were so furious their heads throbbed.
Kristina gritted her teeth. "Huang Quan, Huang Quan... it’s always Huang Quan! He’s dead set on opposing the three Judicator Families."
She had intended to use the members of these global organizations to establish an intelligence network in Nanjing. Now, Huang Quan’s move had snuffed out her plan before it could even begin.
Lin Xin said gravely, "This incident makes it clear that Huang Quan’s influence and deterrent power across the globe are indeed beyond what the three Judicator Families can match."
"Then we’ll kill him," a cold light flashed in Kristina’s eyes. "We’ll let the entire world know that in the eyes of the three Judicator Families, Huang Quan is nothing but a pest."
With that, she posted on the Martial Artist forums again.
**Title:** A Challenge to Huang Quan
**Content:** Huang Quan, I will be waiting for you at the summit of Unparalleled Mountain at eight tomorrow morning. If you dare to show up, I will take your head.
After posting, she turned to Lin Xin. "Who did Father send to kill Huang Quan? And where are they?"
"It’s Mei Siying!" Lin Xin laughed. "Rest assured, Princess. As long as Huang Quan dares to come to Unparalleled Mountain tomorrow morning, Mei Siying will take his head as easily as reaching into her own pocket."
Kristina was stunned. She never expected her father would send Mei Siying, that notorious player. This was getting interesting. Mei Siying might just toy with Huang Quan until he was dead.
At that moment, the Martial Artist forums erupted. Every Martial Artist who saw Kristina’s post was boiling with excitement. Kristina, the young princess of the Golden Family—one of the three Judicator Families—was challenging Huang Quan. This promised to be far more spectacular than Ba Dao’s challenge!
The Martial Artists already in Nanjing were buzzing with anticipation. Those still on their way quickly calculated their travel times and realized they could make it to Nanjing before eight the next morning, ensuring they wouldn’t miss the battle between Huang Quan and Kristina.
Interesting. Kristina has finally lost her patience. She’s eager for the assassin sent by the Eternal Kingdom to make a move on me.
Ye Xiu had just woken up and was heading to the living room to watch some anime when he saw Kristina’s post. A playful smirk touched his lips.
"Big Brother!" Tang Bo’s voice called out.
Ye Xiu then saw Tang Bo walk in, hand-in-hand with a beautiful woman.
The moment he saw the woman, Ye Xiu’s pupils contracted. A Sixth Realm War God?
"Big Brother, let me introduce you to my girlfriend," Tang Bo said with a wide smile. "Her name is Mei Siying. I met her in town last night, and it was love at first sight! I’ve decided she’s going to be the mother of my children."
He then turned to introduce Ye Xiu to her. "Honey, this is my big brother, the Medicine King of Xuanse, Ye Xiu." He puffed out his chest, his face beaming with pride. As the brother of the Medicine King of Xuanse, Tang Bo felt immensely proud.
"You’re *the* Medicine King of Xuanse, Divine Doctor Ye Xiu?" Mei Siying’s eyes instantly lit up, her charming face flushing with excitement. She hurried over to Ye Xiu and stammered, "Uh, hello, Divine Doctor Ye! I—I’ve always been a huge admirer of yours! Um... could you possibly give me an autograph?"
Her acting is quite convincing. Ye Xiu observed Mei Siying. She was petite and exquisitely built, with delicate features, rosy lips, and a high-bridged nose that gave her face a striking depth. However, there was an undercurrent of raw seductiveness to her presence, an aura that could make a man sink into temptation and completely overlook her appearance. It was similar to the aura Meng Yinwan possessed. Could Mei Siying also be from the Restorer Alliance? If so, what are they trying to achieve by having her get close to Tang Bo?
"No problem, it’s just an autograph. I’ll sign as many as you want," Ye Xiu said with a smile, playing along as if he hadn’t seen through her act.
Tang Bo was deeply moved, thinking his big brother really knew how to back him up.
"Thank you, Divine Doctor Ye," Mei Siying cooed, her shy but inviting gaze making Tang Bo’s own desire stir.
"Big Brother, the village really isn’t our style. We were thinking of moving in here with you. Is that okay?" Tang Bo asked.
"Sure!" Ye Xiu nodded.
"Awesome!" Tang Bo was thrilled that Ye Xiu had agreed. "Honey, I’ll go to the Wu Family Fortress to pack our things and move them over. You stay and chat with my big brother for a bit. He’s a great guy."
With that, he ran out.
"Please, have a seat," Ye Xiu said, gesturing to the sofa.
Mei Siying sat right next to him, pressing her body close. "Um, Divine Doctor Ye," she began timidly, looking at him with a bashful expression, a sweet fragrance on her breath. "What should I do? I think I’ve fallen in love with you at first sight."
Damn. She’s a pro at this.
"Hold on. You’re Tang Bo’s girlfriend. Don’t come on to me," Ye Xiu said, scooting away to put some distance between them.
Mei Siying paused, surprised that the Medicine King of Xuanse was such a gentleman.
"But I really have fallen for you!" she purred, sliding over to press against him again. She wrapped her arms tightly around his, her breath a fragrant whisper. "The truth is, it wasn’t love at first sight with Tang Bo. *He* fell for *me* and just wouldn’t leave me alone."
This time, she activated her Charming Skill. Instantly, a faint, enchanting fragrance emanated from her body. This technique was the bane of all men, the very one to which Tang Bo had succumbed.
